The Products

Earrings: All earrings are handmade by myself only. Using quality Polymer Clay and sometimes finished off with Resin. They are handmade in my home studio in Brisbane. Do to the nature of handmade and not machine made each pair of earrings are different to the next and although I hold my work to the highest standard, some slight imperfections may occur. In full disclosure if any seconds stock were to be sold they will be marked as such. There may be some colour, size and texture differences to what is pictured, and colour differences do occur due to different viewing technologies. 

Stickers, Keyrings, Bookmarks, Prints & Pins: All items are drawn and made by myself, expect in some instances where a third party may print and produce the products, but all items are checked and held on at my studio.

Book packs: I created the book packs in order to recycle books I have read and to create a little pack of goodies for people to treat themselves with. I have purchased books from various book stores, these are not products I have made myself. The other items in the pack are all my handmade items. 

All designed are my own intellectual property and are not to be copied or resold as your own work  


All items are made and ready to ship. They are also in very limited quantities and in most cases One of a Kind. Please keep in mind that this website platform does NOT hold stock for you when it is in your cart. If someone else has the same item in your cart and they process their payment through before you, the item is theirs. In high traffic times such as anticipated release, if you want to make an item yours but also want to continue to browse other products I suggest checking out your item first, and if you want to make a future purchase please use the code COMBINE at the check with a note of your previous order number and I will combine the orders. 

Postage & Handling: 

The Coloured Bee is run by myself, therefore I don't have a third party or any helpers packing orders for me. Please allow 3-4 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for your order to be processed, packed and posted (unless otherwise stated) We cannot control the time it takes for Australia Post to deliver your parcel. Please check your tracking details via the Australia Post website for updates. 

The Coloured Bee is no liable for any damage caused by third parties during transport. I take full care in making sure all orders are packed with as much protection packing as possible and all products are placed within a box where they cannot cause any damaged with each other. However, I cannot control how Australia Post transport their parcels and if any damage does occur it will need to be investigated and Australia Post contacted.  I will not automatically give out refunds or replacements without an investigation. 

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS: All items are made. Items are sent via Australia Post (within Australia) All parcels are sent with tracking numbers and you will receive a confirmation email, please check the status of your delivery via Australia Post website with your tracking number as we do not keep watch for you. The Coloured Bee will not be held responsible for any lost parcels. If your parcel was not collected from the depot in time and has been sent back to us, you are responsible for any extra shipping cost. I cannot control how fast or slow Australia Post deliver your parcel. If you have given us the wrong details it is your responsibility to track the parcel and pay for any extra costs. 

NEW ZEALAND ORDERS: There are two shipping options. Economy Air and Standard Shipping. Economy Air is an untracked service, taking a bit longer to get to you, so please be patient if choosing this option. If you would like it quicker I suggest picking the Standard Shipping at a higher rate, but tracking is also included. No extra costs have been added, shipping charges are what I get charged.  


We cannot accept returns for change of mind or incorrect purchase.  All items are listed with a detailed description failure to read these to make sure you are buying the correct item is not our responsibility. We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect purchase.  

    What can be returned 

      • Defective/Faulty item: If in the rare event your item is faulty, we must be contacted within 14 days of receiving your order. Anything outside of this is not accepted. 
      • You must contact us at hello@thecolouredbee.com.au first with a detailed description of the fault, your order number and images of the fault
      • All returns will be considered on a case by case basis and at the owners discretion. Where I can see a product has been mishandled or not treated corrected as per our care instruction, does not warrant a refund.

    How items can be returned: 

    • If an exchange has been approved, the item must be returned in original condition,  and within 14 days of receiving them. 
    • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • You are responsible for the postage costs to return the item to us. The items should be returned via Registered Post, with tracking, and include a return self-addressed Registered Post satchel so to make sure all parties can verify it's safe return.  
    • The replacement item will be remade and shipped, once return has been received. Please keep in mind that a new item will be made and will include a full time frame turn around of 5-10 business days before shipping. 
    • If a refund is issued it will be refunded in the same manor that it was paid. I will not supply a refund to a different name or address or different method. 

    All items are inspected thoroughly and recorded prior to dispatch. 

    All exchange and return enquires are up to my discretion and seen to at a case by case basis.
